MoU has been Signed for Internally Reform and Public Services Deliveries of the State Ministry for Martyrs and Disabled Affairs

Kabul, 2 July 2019:

Today, The MOU for simplifying and computerizing the Martyrs & Disabled rights signed between Asan Khedmat of Ministry of Communications & Information Technology (MCIT) and State Ministry of Martyrs & Disabled Affairs (MMD) in Government Media & Information Center (GMIC).

The MOU was signed in by H.E. acting MCIT Minister Mr. Mohammad Fahim Hashimi and H.E. MMD Minister Mr. Laluddin Aryobee, Asan Khedmat not only simplifying the public processes of the relevant entity to provide a better access to the heirs of the martyrs and the disabled, but also to increase the staff capacity in technical training.

Mr. Hashimi, related the strong cooperation of AK with MMD stated that: “the heirs of the martyrs and the disabled are the most desirable part of the community and providing the platform for the better use of latest and updated technology is the main objective in this MOU. After signing the MOU, the heirs of the Martyrs and Disabled could obtain all their needy services as a one-stop shop. The total cost of the project is estimated 13 million AFS, of which 7 million will be spent on technology equipment and the remaining 6 million will be spent on renovation and physical changes.

Mr. Aryobee added: "there were few complicated public service processes which included 72 steps that after deep study and mapping of the processes it has been decreased to 12 steps and the basic system using currently will be computerized in which provide facilities and ease. He added that by implementing this system, the bureaucracy would be eliminated, corruption would be eradicated, customers may spend less time and the cost would be reduced.

AK including MMD having close coordination with 13 government entities in the field of simplification and computerizing their public services and will establish its other service centers in other provinces in the future.
