One Stop Shop for public services

On December 24, 2019, a meeting of high-level experts from the countries representing the ASAN International Association of Public Service Providers was held in Baku.

The goal is to pass the Association's internal procedures to the Member States to discuss the draft Charter and sign the document.

The Declaration of Intent on the establishment of the ASAN International Association of Public Service Agencies was signed in June 2019 as part of the UN Public Service Forum in Baku. The declaration was signed by the heads of the relevant ministries of public services of Azerbaijan, the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Morocco, Montenegro, Turkey, and Uganda.


The draft charter of the Association has been prepared by the expert group of the State Agency for Citizen Service and Social Innovation under the President of The Republic of Azerbaijan and sent to the respective countries. After receiving the positive feedback from the signatories of the Declaration, it was decided to gather high-level experts at a meeting to be held in Azerbaijan for a detailed discussion of the document.


The Baku meeting of experts will also determine the location of the Ministerial Meeting in 2020, and discuss the next stages of the organization's legal procedures.

The purpose of the ASAN International Association is to discuss current issues and ways to address current challenges and challenges faced by Member States in the effective management of public services. It is also important to establish an institutional network of professionals and experts in order to create a strategy and framework for its implementation, as well as to identify areas for the future development of public services.
